Join District 2 and special guest Annie Graterra for a 2 hour CE event!
Annie specializes in transformational processes that help clients identify underlying patterns that influence their current experience. Her therapeutic work emphasizes developing compassionate self-awareness and accessing one’s inherent resilience through evidence-based practices integrated with somatic approaches.
Annie is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner with additional certifications in Hypnotherapy, and Healing Touch. She is also a Psych-K facilitator. Annie is the founder of the Soul Alchemy Certification, and trains healing practitioners to become masterful guides of soul-level transformation, grounded in spiritual ethics, deep attunement, and intuitive technique.
Participant attending this presentation will be able to:
➢Identify neurobiological mechanisms by which trauma and stress create physiological constriction in the nervous system.
➢Explain principles of somatic or body-based approaches in the therapeutic process.
➢Describe the potential for profound healing through body-based approaches by personally experiencing a guided somatic meditation, demonstrating increased appreciation for the integration of scientific evidence with somatic
wisdom, and expressing commitment to honoring both cognitive and embodied ways of knowing in their therapeutic practice.
This event is to be presented LIVE via Zoom on Friday, July 18th, 2025, from 12-2pm (Central Time). You must attend at this time to receive the CE credit, and you must attend the entirety of the session to obtain your CE certificate. This CE will NOT be recorded for playback later.
This event is free for all Nebraska Counseling Association members, and $20 for non-members.
