    Dr. Jeff Peterson presents: A Mindful Path to Self Care for Helping Professionals (Pre-Recorded, available on-demand all month long!)

    Counselor self-care is more vital now than ever. During this interactive workshop, you will learn about the differences between vicarious trauma, secondary traumatic stress, empathic fatigue, and burnout. You will also learn how to recognize empathic countertransference, how to detect and monitor potential impairment, how to utilize mindfulness as a strategy for regulating vicarious exposure risks, how to measure success via process assessment, and how to use outcome detachment as a boundary strategy for reframing your sense of self-efficacy.  

    This is a pre-recorded presentation, which you will receive access to once you have registered. Information will be sent via your registration email. Please complete the quiz included in your registration email by no later than 5pm on September 30th to receive your CE certificate. CE certificates will be sent automatically when you complete and pass the quiz.
