Alicia Caldwell, LIMHP Presents: Redefining Success: Prioritizing Counseling Self-Care and Wellbeing

    (Pre-Recorded, Available All Month Long!)

    Summary:

In the demanding field of mental health, redefining success means shifting focus from productivity alone to embracing sustainable well-being and self-care. This session explores the importance of counselor self-care as foundational to long-term success and effective client support. Attendees will learn practical, integrative self-care strategies that encompass mental, physical, and relational wellness. By setting realistic boundaries, nurturing resilience, and aligning personal values with professional goals, counselors can enhance their own well-being, improve client outcomes, and lead in creating a culture of mental empowerment. Presented by Alicia Caldwell, MS, LIMHP, licensed therapist, professional speaker, and author of The Journey Back to Self: A Guide to Unlock Your Peace, Power, and Prosperity.

In a profession centered on caring for others, many mental health professionals neglect their own needs until stress or burnout demand attention. This session challenges the traditional definition of success and reframes it through the lens of self-care, sustainability, and holistic well-being.

    Objectives:

    1. Identify how traditional definitions of success contribute to chronic stress and work-life imbalance among mental health professionals.

    2. Explore the diversity of stress and how stressors impact clinicians professionally and personally.

    3. Apply a four-part framework to assess and strengthen self-care routines and professional resilience.

This is a pre-recorded presentation, which you will receive access to once you have registered. Information will be sent via your registration email, including the video link, quiz link, and handouts. Please complete the quiz included in your registration email by no later than 5pm on November 30th, 2025 to receive your CE certificate. CE certificates will be sent automatically when you complete and pass the quiz (8/10 correct). You may take the quiz as many times is necessary to pass.
